Global Property Advisory firm, CBRE, have released research results in respect of the most popular investment property asset classes globally. The results table is displayed here.
Industrial and logistics is the most attractive class, shortly followed by offices with hotel and resorts the least well performing.
This research follows the sentiment of investors in the North West region according to Director of agency at Parkinson Real Estate, Dan Crawshaw.
“Industrial and logistics is definitely the most attractive asset class amongst our investor clients and we do not see this changing throughout 2019. City centre offices are generally performing well and proving attractive to investors however, the majority of our clients involvement is with business parks and town centre offices which, whilst improving, have not performed as well and are, therefore, less attractive to investors. Residential investment in the region still remains an attractive proposition to investors and cities, such as Manchester and Preston, are toward the higher end of national league tables for residential growth!”
