Parkinson Real Estate is a commercial property consultancy who offer in depth knowledge of local market conditions primarily across the Northwest but also UK wide. We act on behalf of a variety of clients over a large geographical area, with results driven instructions fulfilled throughout the country.
The Role
We are seeking a degree apprentice general practice surveyor that aspires to become chartered. 100% of the successful candidate’s tuition fees will be covered by the firm and the UK Government. The nearest Universities to our offices are the University of Salford and Liverpool John Moore University. Unfortunately, the University of Central Lancashire do not provide RICS accredited degrees.
Assisting our own chartered surveyors fulfilling commercial real estate instructions, the role will involve the following tasks: property surveying, lease advisory, valuation advisory, agency & investment and planning & development.
With offices in Manchester, Preston and Wigan, the office base may be flexible and there will be regional travel involved, so the candidate will need to hold a clean UK driving licence. This role would ideally suit an individual seeking varied career objectives and a good work life balance including those aspiring to progress within the firm.
Working hours will be 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (37 hours per week).
The Person
The successful individual will hold Level 3 or 4 (A-Levels or BTEC) qualifications that afford access to the BSc. (Hons) Real Estate Development & Management degree at University of Salford or Liverpool John Moore University. We will fully support the successful candidate through their degree and the Assessment of Professional Competence (APC) to become a Chartered Surveyor.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with strong work ethics and attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate the ability to provide the highest levels of customer service. The successful candidate will need to be an effective communicator and team player who is punctual, conscientious and has a smart appearance.
